
CHAMPS student, Kiera Peltz, contributed to the latest (May-June) issue of LA Youth, the newspaper by and about teens. LA Youth is the only newspaper in the area that brings a teen's view of the world to more than 1,300 classrooms six times a year. It is an independent, not-for-profit journlism education program that publishes 70,000 copies and distributes to newspapers free to teachers throughout Los Angeles County.Kiera has written wonderful stories on health care and diversity.
