CHAMPS student selected for UCLA Summer Institute
UCLA offers summer youth program in performing, media arts School of Theater, Film and Television camp trains future award winners. CHAMPS student, Hailey Chavez will be among more than a thousand high school and college students from the United States and around the world that will take up residence on the UCLA campus this summer as part of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television's Arts Camp/Workshops.
Francesca Placidi accepted into the Vasser-Powerhouse Apprentice Training Program
The Powerhouse Theater Apprentice Training Program provides an opportunity for students to look at the art of theater in new and meaningful ways. Participants explore the boundaries of theater from the traditional to the new, from campus to town, from amphitheater to art center. By living, breathing, and creating theater with peers and professionals alike students come away with a unique life changing experience.
The program is the result of a unique collaboration between Vassar College, a prestigious liberal arts institution, and New York Stage and Film, an established professional theater company. A Powerhouse day will include morning classes taught by an outstanding faculty, in acting, voice, movement, directing, and Soundpainting. Powerhouse afternoons feature rehearsals, workshops, and more, while evenings are filled with performances.
CHAMPS Students Accepted into Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts Program!

Perry-Mansfield's mission is to provide young people superior arts training in body, heart, and mind, and to promote creativity, a sense of the close brotherhood of the arts, and the values of a way of life close to nature.
Today, students from all over the world take classes from a select group of accomplished and internationally renowned faculty. The tradition of Perry-Mansfield remains unsurpassed as the camp continues to prepare emerging young artists for the stage. Recent alumni are performing with Ballet Hispanico, Battleworks Dance Company, Munich Ballet, the Paul Taylor Dance Company, Nederlands Dans Theater, and in film, on Broadway and television. We invite you to share in the magic of Perry-Mansfield.

5 CHAMPS STUDENTS ACCEPTED
Founded in 1935, the Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) is among the oldest and largest professional non-profit theatres in the nation. Each year OSF presents an eight-and-a-half-month season of eleven plays in three theatres plus numerous ancillary activities, and undertakes an extensive theatre education program. Operating on a budget exceeding $26 million, OSF presents more than 780 performances annually with attendance of approximately 400,000. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is committed to including diverse people, ideas, cultures and traditions in all areas of our work within a high-caliber theatre environment.The following CHAMPS students have been accepted for the 2010 summer program:
